This video shows how to install Microsoft WIndows 7, on a computer, which does not have installed operating system and the hard drive is empty.

What do you need to begin:

Installation DVD or USB drive.

Computer or laptop that meets the MS Windows 7 system requirements.

Between 10 and 30 minutes to complete the installation.

MS Windows 7 system requirements:

1 gigahertz (GHz) or faster 32-bit (x86) or 64-bit (x64) processor

1 gigabyte (GB) RAM (32-bit) or 2 GB RAM (64-bit)

16 GB available hard disk space (32-bit) or 20 GB (64-bit)

DirectX 9 graphics device with WDDM 1.0 or higher driver

Steps:

Turn On the computer and insert the installation disk into the DVD drive. If you have a USB Drive, connect it into one of the USB ports.

Wait for the installation software.

Select your prefered language.

Select time and currency format.

Select your main keyboard.

Click “Next”

Click “Install now”

Read carefully the license terms. You need to agree with them to continue. If so tick “I accept the license terms”.

Click “Next”.

Click “Custom (advanced)”.

Select on which drive you want to install MS Windows 7.

Click “Next”.

Wait the installation software to do its work. Typically this takes between 10 and 25 minutes. The system will restart several times.

Type in your name. This is for your Windows 7 Account. This will become your computer’s name also (you can change that).

Click “Next”.

If you want you can set up a password, for your account.

Click “Next”.

Enter your Product key.

Click “Next”.

Select “Use recommended settings”.

Set up your clock, if necessary. And your timezone also.

Click “Next”.

If the computer is connected to a network, select the type of your network (your computer’s current location).
If you want you can join a homegroup in your network (we will skip that step).

Wait for the installation to complete.

Congratulations! You have a freshly installed MS Windows 7
