To turn Windows 7 Firewall off: Open “Start menu”. Click “Control Panel”. Type in “firewall”, in the search box. Click “Windows Firewall”. On the left side, click “Turn Windows Firewall on or off”. Select “Turn off Windows Firewall (not recommended)”, for the types of network you want. Click “OK”.
